Meet the BGUMUN Board
Zvika Losh was born in Israel and from the age of five has lived in five different countries including Germany, Belgium, Sint Maarten and Aruba. Zvika studies Politics and Governance at Ben Gurion University, specializing in European and African Studies and has been an active participant in Model UN for the past two years. He is a ‘Song of Ice and Fire’ enthusiast - “the books are so much better than the TV show”, and will never refuse a cold pint of Guinness.

Adi Saada and is 24 years old. Her parents moved from France to Israel and she was born in Jerusalem. Now, she lives in Beer Sheva and studies Political Science and Management. Adi loves music, dogs and people.
Penina Schiffman, is 23 years old and proud to be heading the Department of Academics for the BGUMUN Society for the upcoming academic year. She is currently studying for her bachelor's degree in Political Science, Middle Eastern Studies and Gender Equality Studies and this will be her third year in Model UN. Penina first joined Model UN in order to improve her diplomatic and public speaking skills and is continuing in Model UN to contribute back to the society.
Rahul, 27 years old, is an Indian student doing his PhD in cancer medicine at BGU. He sees ModelUN as a great platform for personal growth and networking. He loves to compose & sing Indian music, read self-help, psychology and business genres books and experiment with cooking. Ideas and innovation in art and technology is what really excites him and will never miss a chance to give motivational lessons to others.

Yonatan is from Maaleh Adumim, a city east of Jerusalem. He's starting his second year in the university studying Political Science. He loves sports and history and if you find a way to combine the two - there will be no one happier than him. When he is not watching sport games and activities, Yonatan spends his time reading and listening to music.
Rachel researches influenza health policy and ethics at BGU as part of her Master's degree from Arizona State University in Bioscience Ethics, Policy, and Law. Last year, she traveled with BGUMUN to the Netherlands and won best delegate in Israeli conferences. Rachel is determined to become fluent in Hebrew, familiar with desert life, (she grew up in Phoenix, Arizona), and particularly loves northern Israel, which is filled with greenery, hikes, and her family.
Besan is 23 years old, from a village called Meisar in the north, but grew up in Jerusalem. She is starting her third year in Social Work at Ben Gurion University. She loves fashion and beauty, in her free time you'll find her reading magazines or watching YouTube videos. But on a more serious note, her goal in life is to travel around the world and reach out, embrace, nourish and educate children living in poverty.
