The Society will strive to develop and empower its members, enrich their knowledge & skill sets in a fun and learning environment. Delegates participating in the Ben-Gurion Model UN Society will acquire and/or improve skills pertaining to diplomacy and leadership, with an emphasis on foreign relations. Furthermore, delegates will improve their public speaking and debating abilities in English, foster critical thinking, work in teams and build coalitions.

 

Delegates will learn and experience how to research and represent the policies of countries across the world while gaining valuable insight into the workings of the United Nations and it’s organs. The society will be a leading light in the the Israeli Model UN Circuit, setting an example to delegates and societies alike. Finally, the society will strive to be a social gathering hub for students from Israel and abroad, as part of the Ben-Gurion University Student Union.
